today, i kept worrying about what other people thought of me
before asking a qustion, i paused
before calling someone's name , i paused again
I know it's normal not to know everything when you're new
still, i couldn't stop feeling like i was bothering people
some coworkers were kind
they stopped what they were doing and explained thing to me
others looked busy before they even answered.
i don't think i was learing only the job today
i was also learning people's faces
who looked easy to talk to.
who seemed too busy.
who smiled.
who didn't
maybe this is also part of atarting a new job
you don't just learn the work.
you slowly learn the people around you, too
